Clients who utilize our rental program may still decide to work with us in the clinic to take advantage of our other neurofeedback offering— LENS (low energy neurofeedback system), which works in a much different way than traditional neurofeedback. They may also be interested in working with our talented therapists for talk-therapy and/or EMDR therapy. By utilizing a rental, it allows our clients to have more time in their weekly sessions to work towards their goals with their therapist.

One of the biggest advantages of at-home neurofeedback is the ability to train consistently without the need for multiple office visits each week. Your clinician will recommend a training schedule based on your goals and response to treatment.

  • Most neurofeedback sessions take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The exact length may vary depending on your personalized protocol and treatment.

  • Neurofeedback may be helpful for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Yes. Many of our neurofeedback clients continue working with their existing therapist, psychiatrist, or other healthcare providers. Neurofeedback can be used as a standalone service or as a complement to counseling and other treatment approaches.

  • No. Prior experience is not required. We provide a comprehensive equipment training session and will ensure you feel comfortable using the system before taking it home. Ongoing support is available throughout your rental period.

  • Most clients find the equipment much easier to use than they initially expected. During your equipment training appointment, we'll walk you through setup, electrode placement, and how to complete sessions. We also provide support if questions arise while you're training at home.

  • At the end of your rental period, you can return the equipment or discuss extending your rental if additional training is recommended. Your clinician will review your progress and help determine the most appropriate next steps based on your goals and response to treatment.

  • The initial qEEG brain map, intake appointment, and equipment training are completed in person at our office. After that, you'll complete your neurofeedback sessions from home. If you're within reasonable driving distance for the initial appointments, the majority of your training can be done remotely.

  • The primary difference is convenience and frequency. At-home neurofeedback allows you to train more often without traveling to the office multiple times each week. You still receive personalized protocols, clinician oversight, and ongoing support throughout the program.
