PASSS Funding for Ohio Adoptive Families
Many Ohio adoptive families may be eligible for assistance through the Post Adoption Special Services Subsidy (PASSS) program.
PASSS is a state-funded program that helps adoptive families access specialized services after adoption finalization. Eligible families may receive funding for therapeutic services when those services are necessary to meet the child's needs. PASSS may provide up to $10,000 per child annually, with additional funding available in certain circumstances. Funding is subject to state approval and availability.
Counseling and other therapeutic services are commonly supported through PASSS when clinically appropriate.
